Lyndel - I went for the RC9200 for two reasons - firstly it's a colour remote! - my eyes ain't what they used to be and so having a RED record button for instance makes navigation much easier when I don't have my specs to hand. Secondly - cost - I picked up my RC9200 on Ebay for just over £100 complete with RF kit - I think it's a bargain.
Daniel - I've gotten over the banding issue by using colours which reduce the issue to pretty much a "non issue" really so I'm very happy now. I just wasn't sure what the performance level of these screens was, now I know they have their (surmountable) limitations, all is well.
