Hi All,

I have recently upgraded from an RC5000i to a (2nd hand) Marantz RC9200 remote. Initial impressions are mostly very good. I was pleased to see that my old RC5000 CCF was accepted by the new remote. Although the old buttons were obviously monochrome, putting them on a plain colour background has a very pleasing effect. Adding the odd colour button e.g. a red record button, and a conservative use of colour text here and there gives a very pleasing effect. The only thing I've noticed is that whereas a plain full screen colour frame has good uniformity, when a light coloured button is placed on the screen, the background colour is lightened slightly above the button (right up to the top of the screen) and below (all the way down) the button - like a striped wallpaper effect. I was wondering if this is down to the age of the screen, or if this is normal from new. Any comments appreciated.

Thanks
