I couldnt stand the thought that my house could sink.

I went on a yacht ride from holland to denmark once. There was a terrible storm that tossed the yacht around and side to side. It was a 2 day ride and i spent it on my back with my feet and shoulders wedging me into place on my bed so i wouldnt get thrown out on the floor. If you got up to go to the bathroom you literally had to crawl there because if you tried to walk you would get thrown to the wall then to the ground. I was so nauseous i didnt eat or drink anything for those 2 days. The entire crew (15 people) including the old timers were experiencing sea sickness. When the weather cleared they found that peices of the boat had been torn off including a door.

Anyhow.. had to share that :). It was scary enough to keep me off a boat for the rest of my life.
