I have used several of the "Pro" units via rs-232. I was useing an AMX system which had no bearing on the programming other than I could query the current channel for feedback on my TP. There is direct channel entry as well. Rather than issueing....2,2,5,enter, there is a code for every channel for direct entry. Handy enough.
