I am new to RS232, I am working on a system that has a RTI control system (XP-8, T3-V, RK3, RK2, K4)
The theater has a Yamaha RX-V2700 AVR that I am controlling via RS232 from the XP-8 RJ45 port 1.
I have 2 H20 and 3 H21 DirecTV boxes that are controlled via IR, I want to use RS232. What else is required to accomplish this? Serial to USB adapter?
