Big screw-up to forget discrete codes when your previous projectors had them on the remote.
I believe that Epson left the "On" command as a toggle to avoid shipping new remotes. But it takes TWO presses of the "On" button to turn it off ... So "On" "Exit" ought to work for a "discrete" on.
It works fine. You don't even have to hit exit if you don't want to (all that does is make the on screen prompt go away a smidge faster).
Since it takes 2 on commands to make it go off, it would be difficult to accidentally turn off. And now that there is a discrete off, that solves the problem with the previous FW.
I can't think of a macro scenario where this would be a problem (with the new 106 FW). While its not as perfect as last years 7500ub discretes, I say hooray to Epson for listening!
