Has anybody had a chance to look at what the TSU9600 sends over a WiFi network when it is setup in network as opposed to stand alone mode?
Would it be possible to connect a PC in to the wireless network and have it act as (Spoof) a wireless extender. It appears that Philips has got everything positioned to be able to do that. The WiFi message must eventually convert to or all ready be a standard IP message if it is able to be carried across a standard ethernet network (wired) to a Philips wireless extender. All I want to do is get the equivalent of an IR code into a PC with no IR involved and preferably using IP protocol over WiFi. This then opens the TSU9600 control to be usable with many home automation systems and almost any PC application with good reliable networking as opposed to IR (Which is not that bad). I would write the necessary activex control and provide it gratis so others could develop applications using the TSU9600 as a control panel.
