I just got my 9600 and 9400 yesterday and I was hoping someone on the beta team or in the know can answer a quick question regarding the IP communication.

I know the 9600 can communicate two-way via IP for controlling equipment like the Escient and Lutron lighting. However, is this generic functionality exposed in the software?

I'm thinking of creating an interface to my MCE PC for instance to show the TV Guide info much like the Escient DVD/CD info is displayed.

Any tips/info would be appreciated. I work for an integrator BTW.
