Thanks again for pointing me in the right direction! Your codes worked great and the FAQ pointed out one of my mistakes - not holding the button down until the Pronto beeps. That at least seems to work for the Sony stuff although I had to go look for codes for my Yamaha receiver because nothing I've tried has worked to get those codes to be learned properly. But I found the ones I needed in the Classic area so I don't need to learn them. :-)
Now, if I could just figure a simple and fast way to get these codes that I've downloaded into My Database. :-\
Also, since you've done such a great job putting together all of those codes for the Sonys, you might want to double check the Skip Disc + and Skip Disc -. On my DVP-CX995P your codes (set 1) worked, but were swapped. I'll be checking the other code sets tomorrow night - I need all 3 since I have two 875s as well as the 995. :-}
