Thanks for the responses:

1. The 9400 has the emitter going from IR1 to the cable box.
2. "Family Room" has a panel with a button (Guide) that links to a code page under "Cable Box". I have set the properties of "Cable Box" under the "Settings" tab by checking the Extender0 check box. The "Guide" code comes from the factory database and was tested with IR and works fine.
