My "Settings Button" is a wrench with a nut and a washer.
Looks nothing like yours. Also the Settings Button does
not function in the simulator.

In my example pic the "Settings Button" is the second icon in the system area from the right. Sounds the same to me. It is a wrench with a nut and a washer as well. I am not using a custom icon there. Also, the Simulator works a bit differently for PEP than it does for PENG/PPENG. The "Settings Pages" can not be accessed via the "Settings Button" in the Simulator. This was done by design. Also take note that the Simulator for PEP is available immeidately after calling it up in the editor. This is a very welcome change in contrast to PENG/PPENG where you have to wait a good bit for the Simulator to load up. And for those that did not notice there is a new Simulator option with PEP where you can simulate a page directly rather than having to always start on your home page. To simulate a page you simply right click on any given page and choose the "Simulate Page" option.
