Good too see that others are also planing to do this.

I had a talk with Philips and check with them if they could give us the protocol but of course that wasn't possible.
So I'm going to try to reverse engineer it. I just hope they don't have any crypto or secret hashing in the protocol just to prevent such a thing. Specially when they like to mention their smart protocol. Hopefully it's just a request-response protocol to make sure the command(s) have been received.
But if we managed to do this it would open up a whole new world of uses for the TSU9600. Because then we could also send commands from the computer to the extenders and get the computer to manager your equipment! Hopefully Philips takes notice of the power it would give their new wonderful remote and help us in the right direction!

I ordered my TSU9600 and a RFX9400 yesterday so with a bit of luck I might be able to take a first look at this during the weekend.
