I checked: my error log had zero entries.

I followed your instructions below, including the Reset sequence.

Now it's acting VERY weird; the backlight is stuck on, and the touch-screen doesn't work at all. The hard buttons behave normally, but I can't navigate.

I've reset it twice, same results.

I'm depressed.

Try this. Press Backlight, Menu, and Firm2 all at the
same time and report back how many entries are in your
diagnostic log and whether the timestamps are in proper
sequence by scrolling to the end of the log.


If they are not or the log contains 100 entries, please
clear the log by using the appropriate firm buttons and
then reset the remote using Home, Menu, Page+ all pressed
simultaneously. Try again and please let us know if lockups
continue.


I found something similar with one particular config and
I'm trying to see if there's a correlation so it's important
that you reply back please....
