When i enter a rs232 hex code into the pronto (example 55 08 57 00 00 02 00 01 49) under the add rs232 he section, the entered code is transmitted differently ? ie the 1st byte 55 appears as 35. if i enter the code in the ASCII area with a \x in front of every byte is transmitted OK (just takes a lot longer) i have to programme 7 remotes.

I have linked the pc running a serial port monitor to the extender to see what is actully transmits out

I know its probably me but can any one help.
