Thank you for your comments - i actually am about 75% done with my setup on the 9600. Took a little time to learn what i was doing -

my equipment is: pio tv, denon reveiver, toshiba and pany dvd players, sony cd player, ipod and 2 dtv receivers.

one big problem with the software is the lack if graphic images built in and the lack of a true snap-to window and a lack of the latest equipment in the database - did a lot of "learns" - most worked - some didn't. The other problem with the software is the lack of zooming. I used the basic classic .xcf as my base model.

I have macros and of course the appropriate windows. I figure it will take me about a week to get this first one done and i will see how i like it.

As bambam states, the pronto is MUCH more capable than
any remote you can buy from Logitech/Harmony. If you
can bear to use the software, you can indeed accomplish
much more with this platform. Once you get over the hump,
I'll bet you will be satisfied you have such control.
