If you want a remote that can be programmed with having to have a brain, buy a logitech. They do a good job and you dont really need any knowledge to program them.

The prontos are more of a professional control that require some sort of knowledge, or money to pay someone to program it for you. They are capable of sooooo much more than most remotes on the market but you have to TAKE THE TIME TO LEARN!!!!
