Have you tried a sequence of events for one component at a time. What I mean is, run a macro for the Denon amp only. Then do one for the DVD player. See if they execute without any problems. See if we can isolate which component is not working properly. Also, if the DVD player is the problem, try putting an emitter on the front rather than connecting to the rear.

Also, did you check firmware on extender and remote. Sometimes that can cause a problem. When I installed a 9200 a few months ago, the RF feature would not work out of the box until I updated the firmware.
