I had communication problems with my 9800 on both VISTA and MCE computers. The only one I had luck on transfering the config file to the 9800 was an XP pro sp2 laptop machine. Based on some of the infomration in this thread it might be that it is because I did not have any external pointer device connected.
In any case, I'm in the process of wiping my home laptop of MCE and installing XP pro. I hope that solves it for me. I guess if not I'll have to play around with the HID stuff in device manager.
BTW. I did call Philips support and they were totally useless. They said the 9800 should be compatible with all VISTA and XP machines. They said they had no record of any prolems reported. They never once mentioned anything about checking the HIDs to see if there was a conflict. In my opinion they are not really serious about providing tech support. Pathetic if you ask me.
