Thanks for that suggestion,a bit of a cop out by Philips though,I would prefer to stay with the Dual boot I set up and boot to XP to do my Pronto stuff.I believe it is the OS as the same machine PEP 1 and PEP 2 both run on XP,and not on Vista this is the only Vista software or any other problem I have.Iam still looking for the answer,If I find it I will post.,I do not believe I have any hardware issue's.I wonder if all copies of Vista Ultimate or any other version are not the same,hiccups in the code is what I mean.or as they are installed on certain machines they do not install the same.I believe I have seen this on different PC I have worked on, a variation on the installation of the OS.Anyway at least I can use PEP 1/PEP 2 by booting to XP so all is not lost
