I have benn thinking this same thing for a while now. I liked the ability to do shortcuts. When I did some of my first MX900 / 950's I called tech support on this one and they had no clue what I was talking about when I said "shortcut". In the 850 Editor it's the edit label butons box. I had in stuck in my head as shorcut though. Where have I heard that term "shortcut" before?? The guy from tech said that it would be available soon on 900's and above but I dont see that happening. I've just learned to live with it. The main reason I needed it was programming for and Elan VSE electronic volume control's vol +/- onto a Device. Can't do that w/ a macro.
