The button failure rate for me has become better and worse. I now do not have specific buttons that fail on a regular basis, but notice that ALL of the buttons will fail intermittently.

It seems that if I leave the remote for a short period of time, it takes a button push to wake it up. The problem is that this period of time varies from about 30 seconds to 2 or 3 minutes. I even have the backlight switch needing a second push about every 40 times or so.

If I am using the remote almost continually, without any 30 second or longer pauses, it works at about 98% button success rate.
