Thanks Lowpro and Carl, I'll try a new program when I get home. I know the remote is over a year old, I got one of the first ones when they came out. I haven't looked at the receipt, but I know it was sometime in late 2005 when I received it.

I'm also going to call URC today and see what they charge to replace an LCD screen, that's if they even do it. I'm not too hopeful though. I'm just really puzzled by how it happened, really strange.
