You may have a (somewhat dubious) argument that the MX-980
guy screwed you a bit, but you really have to man up and
follow through on the MRF-350 purchase. Bite the bullet
and re-sell it on eBay for a loss if you need to.
However, I think you should keep it - URC makes the best
remotes out there and you'll eventually be able to get
a 980 with software from somewhere.
I'm going to refuse the remote, I already have the MRF-350 (2 days ago).
As soon as this battle with me and the ebay seller end, I'll be seeking for URC MX products again maybe the 900, 950 or 980 who knows. I'm now well inform about URC policies and the authorized dealers, so thanks to all you I won't get screwed up by one of those seller. (who should'nt be selling URC products)
I just wait to get my money back before re-spending it.
