I think it is pretty odd that alot of people are having this many issues with the URC remote control software. I have been using the 700 and above for a few years. I would say to save often as with any remote type software does have a tendancy to crash, but these issues are before the user even gets to load the software. Being a dealer and buying from a reputable distr. does make things eaiser though. If I had the same issues I'm sure my local distr. would help also as he is also into making more money and not keeping items on the shelf that do not waist peoples valuable time. If you do get past the software bugs you have on your PC, I suggest learning about the MSC-400 control station. I just learned how easy it is to program and make ANY TOAD system work flawless. SO even though you may be having issues, it is not a nationwide problem as it sounds that way to you. I still prefer URC over any other. (Except Crestron of Course!)
