I just recently purchased an Olevia 232V Hi-Def TV for my elderly parents. The TV is great especially for the price. The only problem that I am having is that the company doesnt have a Universal code for this models remote control. I've been in contact w/ Olevia and they have no answer for me or the thousands of people who own the same model and are having the same problem. Having 2 remotes to run the cable and the tv would not be the end of the world to me, but for my elderly parents it becomes a real hassle. What I need to know is: Will an IR Learning Remote be able to learn directly from the Olevia remote? if not what would be the best process/Remote that would enable me to program both TV and Cable systems to one single (hopefully easy to use) remote control? Thanks in advance for any help.
