To me, it was purely ergonomics: I like the way the Nevo felt in my hand as compared to my Pronto. I miss the longer battery life provided by the RF of the Pronto, but that's about it....but it IS a pretty big difference. The Pronto, however, had similar battery life issues in its infancy that were corrected by firmware updates. UEI seems to have begun this process BUT WiFi is ALWAYS a battery hog, so it will never equal out. If I didn't require RF/WiFI to control my components, it would be the Nevo hands down. And *IF* there were a choice of Nevo models with RF or WiFi, I'd grab the RF model and never look back.
