The Nevo Voltage Sensor is fairly inexpensive - about $70 retail in Canada and the US.
This device accepts a 5V to 24V DC signal from any type of trigger.
ie 12V Out on a Theatre Receiver or use it combination with some Xantech units to achieve different types of triggers ie LED/Light Sensor, Current Sensor, Magnetic Sensor, Contact Close Signal.
