It seems that the object-oriented nature of the original ProntoEdit is gone.

Looks like they threw out some of the baby with the bathwater
I think PENG was built on NE and not PE, so from that respect they did not throw anything out, but in all honesty, I hope they add all the cool features that were in PE
as for comments, read some of the threads, there are a few posts on what was is in PE but not PENG
