Hm.

Playing with PENG for the first time this morning. It seems that the object-oriented nature of the original ProntoEdit is gone. I used this heavily for updating various components (main menus, for example) throughout the CCFs I write.

And what is with this static windowing thing? I loved that each panel in ProntoEdit was movable. Looks like they threw out some of the baby with the bathwater... (eeugh.)

I think PENG was built on NE and not PE, so from that respect they did not throw anything out, but in all honesty, I hope they add all the cool features that were in PE

as for comments, read some of the threads, there are a few posts on what was is in PE but not PENG
...
