1. You dont, discrete codes in my experience are a "try it and see thing" Check out the discrete section find codes for the manufacturer of your equipment make a bunch of buttons and try them to see if one works.
2. A .pcf is a .zip file in disguise. Make a copy of a pcf rename it to .zip and open it with your favorite zip utility and you will see all the bmp's. Windows XP thumbnail viewer is very handy here to see what icon is behind the cryptic name the bmp is given by NG.
3. Not really see #1. More times than not there is no discrete code for actions like that. That's where macros come in.
Read the help file in NG. It is full of good info. The keyboard shortcuts make life much easier. Live em Learn em Love em.
