I've imported some of Archer's buttons into Photoshop
7 to make modifications, but when I import back
into PENG, they look fine on the setup, but in
simulator, they are covered with a transparant
screen of black dots. Where did I go wrong?
I'm sure I've messed up a color map or something
along the way, but I don't know where. Items
were saved as indexed-color 8 bit bitmaps. Conversion
to gray scale doesn't seem to help. What is the
best way to modify existing bmp's in Photoshop?

Ooops, didn't quite get the hang of that first time...

I've just downloaded DD'Arches configuration file. I have two discrete questions :

1. The file I downloaded has most of the discrete codes for a different Yamaha receiver but most of them work for my receiver (RX-V1). However, I want to (for example) add a button that has a dsp sound field called "Europe Hall C". The downloaded version I have has a "USA Hall C" that has the correct IR code for "Europe Hall C" so all I have to be able to do is somehow copy the button and edit the bitmap so that it says "Europe Hall C". I've tried right clicking and pressing "copy" but it doesn't copy to Photoshop. Surely there is an easy way to do this?

2) I'm hoping DDarche will be able to tell me how to convert the discrete codes from Yamaha's website into the discrete codes he has on his PCF and get them into the IR layer. The RX-V1 has a bunch more discrete dsp sound fields.

Thanks for any help!
