Here's some more information I found. I opened up my PCF file in Winzip and found it to be an XML file and a series of bitmaps. Opened the XML file in Internet Explorer to have a look - guess what - all the learned codes are stored in the XML file in the same format at NEO hex codes! I cross checked a couple of the Barco codes I'd learnt into the NEO and they were exactly the same. So, it looks like the 3000 is actually a NEO with a bigger screen!

Let's hope that Phillips will reverse this lack of functionality in a future firmware update.
