ndor nailed it. They DO NOT use the same battery pack.

I wouldn't think you would have much problem selling those battery packs though. Everyone I know who has a pronto has had to replace theirs so I am sure there is a need. If my charger hadn't gone out on me I would buy one myself but instead I need a new charger and pack So I'll just buy a new DS1000. :(
