I think you guys are being a bit hard on the Noobie. I read his initial post and took it for what it was. He didn't say he spent his life reading this thread, he probably just reviewed some posts now and again. I also think that Peter's response was a bit harsh, although I don't think it warranted you (Mike) being "pissed off." As for how to program the remote, what I did was found a good file to start and then just merged it into my Pronto (7000). I then browsed through a number of files and merged components. I've spent a lot of time designing my remote and have to say it has become a bit of a hobby that I truly enjoy. I now use my remote to watch TV via an HD TiVo, watch DVDs, play Xbox 360, adjust the lights and even control a portable heater. Just spend some time with it and in no time you'll have it going. BTW - it really only takes minutes to be able to program the remote for use with your Mits TV - just download the file file that Lyndel posted. You can then work on tweaking it later.
