I went back to 3.7.7, the one from June 05. It seems to have handled several problems mentioned above, and several customers have said it's now working much faster, button pushes and page changes. They're much happier. I don't think it's the perfect firmware, but it's better than the new one. I'm sure they'll find the bugs and fix it. Meanwhile, that's what I'm doing with my new ones from the box.
