Of course, I think $1000 for the Pro is ridiculous to start with.

... but I don't think the new Marantz should be priced higher than the Pronto Pro... they took a good idea and improved upon it with a thumbpad and some extra buttons. Pretty much all the initial planning and market research was paid for by Philips and the others with mimic-remotes.
