Wo! If that is a joystick/thumbpad on this remote, I think Philips will be kicking themselves big time.

Marantz RC9200 and RC5200

Lotsa questions of course. I can't wait to hear the feedback after Cedia.

I'm very glad, I haven't got a ProntoPro yet. These thing looks amazing. Still would like expandable memory too. Can't wait for the Cedia report.

I am anxious to see what the editing software will be. As Daniel indicated, looks like the editable area will be bigger then 240x219.

It's got a very unique design... sort of retro classy. It actually LOOKS like a Marantz product.

Daniel,

Did you say manufactured by Philips?

Ain't that a hoot?! It looks to be what everyone has been asking for in the Pronto(Pro)... and they build it for another company.

We'll have to see what the software's like!

Can't wait! I may be in the market for an upgrade.

Add me into the cannot wait category. I hope you manage to get a lot of info on it at Cedia. I am really jealous of all of you going there.

Don't forget it STILL IS based on the Pronto design. Not a completely new product.

Yeah, but I think what this says is that we all had our hopes up so high about the Pro and have been sorely disillusioned and disappointed. So now we're hoping that this is all the Pro is not.

Physical cursor and more editable screen area! Could it be someone has listened to what we've been asking for? This looks very good indeed, especially with a black and white version that skips the RF as well.
