Which worked? Changing the Pronto Hex so PENG wouldn't recognise and compress it? Or extending the duration? Or it took both? Or you only tested with both?

I think the compressed form will send the same thing as the long form.

It seems more plausible that the important issue would be duration.

I expect that specifying longer duration for the compressed form would be the same as for the long form. But I'm less confident of that.

.2s is a strange choice. That is about enough for 2 frames (in NEC1 protocol) and 2 frames is very little. I have no idea what the rounding rules are. It could round to 1 frame or 3 frames. How it rounds may depend on almost any other factor (firmware version, Peng version, etc.). Maybe you want to try longer than .2s
