You've got what many people get when they don't have an experienced installer order the parts: a screen with RF control where the RF part probably cost you a couple hundred dollars, and there is no way the manufacturer will take it back...even though it is wrong for you.
What the manufacturer CAN do, though, is provide you with information as to how to remove that RF controller and replace it with another kind of controller. It could be that a single IR controlled relay (Xantech CC12) could replace the RF controller, but you'd have to know how to wire it in. And if you have to rewire 120 volt wiring, you'll want a pro. Not necessarily an electrician, but at least a home theater pro.
