I've just started programming my new 3500 and have the following problem.
My HDD/DVD recorder (Sony RDR HX725) cannot output component and RGB at the same time. I've connected my projector through component but my TV is connected through RGB scart. Everytime I switch from watching TV to using the projector I need to go to the system menu, turn RGB scart off, turn component output on, turn progressive scan on, press OK to confirm progressive output is shown and finally leave the menu again. Normally a macro would do the trick but the problem is that the menu is slow and remembers its last position. So depending on where you were in the menu the last time. you used it shows up on screen. The best thing would be a discreet code for turning component progressive on of course but I don't think that exists (if anyone has it please let me know).
So is there any other way to automate this procedure without having to go through the menu and pressing at least 12 buttons all the time?
