Dudes!
Found the problem!!
I was using the original Pronto IR blasters the RF6500 came with. At the time It was all I had, all out of Xantech 282's. Stopped by the warehouse and got some more, swapped it, BOOM! Works fine, all commands. Plugged the other one back in, no work.
Who woulda thunk!?!? Anything's possible...... File this one away for other intermittents, too.
