Bummer--

Installed the latest FW update (v3.8.17) and latest editor version (v.2.1.8), first from CD, then from RC site to eliminate possibility of corrupted files. Installed everything on notebook, then on desktop, to make sure it wasn't a system problem. But no matter what I tried, got "error downloading configuration to the device" and "The CF version is not correct or the memory is corrupt", upon which Pronto would promptly crash and I would need to reinstall default configuration from the firmware update.

Could this be a hardware problem (corrupt memory?)? If so, why am able to download the default config file from the firmware update?

Man-- had I known Pronto was so buggy and time consuming to program, would have gone for the far cheaper Logitech...
