Just an update on this method:
- It still works after 8 months;
- Do not buy a contact cleaner, but a needle!
- Puncture with "force" each contact spot 4 times.

Glad to hear that it seems to be a permenant fix. I tried the needle trick and cleaned areas of the screen that are normally inaccesible and now it seems to be working again. Has anyone tried this fix and had it fail again after the needle trick seemed to fix it?
