Hi everyone. I found you because of this problem, it started last wednesday night. Like everyone else, nothing unusual led up to the problem the screen just stopped responding. So I tried updating the firmware for the first time and now I have a message box that says tap top left corner. My question is do I need a small hammer to get it to recognize the tap. Seriously though my father-in-law owns a high end Audio/video store where I purchased the remote approximately one year ago. I am going to see if they can get a response from Philips and will report back.
