my wife's been telling me all along that it's the ipronto and not the network, but I wouldn't believe it. So, for the last three months, i've been changing the wifi channel settings on the cards in our computers or resetting the NetBlaster II wireless hub. Today, after posting my dilemma here, I decided to take out the Philips network card and install one of the SohoWare CableFREE II cards that came with the NetBlaster II hub. No problems yet, but its only been a few hours.

You're right -- this typically is an issue in the AM. At breakfast I check the connection and many times it is down (red light on the NetBlaster II hub) AND that means the EPG didn't automatically update overnight.
