I've just received my iPronto second-hand and the button configuration is way off (about 2cm down from where it should be)

I'm trying to use the calibration setting and keep getting a message that it's failed : (

Is there a way to completely wipe the iPronto back to factory settings or could this be a more fundamental problem with the screen ?
