Sure. What you describe is "normal operation"
:-)

(see my thread about this problem ....)

When the iPronto turned off (to save power) and
you press a button or touch the screen it needs
time to "wake up".

Wake up means, the iPronto needs to enable the
WLAN connection to the WLAN access point again
and that takes a few seconds.

So, turn on the iPronto e.g. touch the screen,
shake it, whatever ... and the count to 5 and
you can use it without hangs or pauses.

There is another problem with "freezing" buttons
during normal operation - a reboot is then required.
But that's a different problem.

Best regards,

Kalle

No, I think he's talking about a different problem again! (Buggy? iPronto? Never!) It's one that I posted about a while back. When you press a button, it stays "pressed" for 10-15 seconds or thereabouts. It doesn't seem to be sending any codes in that time, just the graphic locks on the "pressed" graphic. Whole remote stops responding for this time, then the button goes back to "unpressed" graphic and everything works normally.

There are 3 issues with sticking buttons.

1: Wake-up time from sleep mode is quite slow, meaning a delay before you can send any commands.

2: Sometimes buttons stick and send same code repeatedly (normally volume up in my case!) causing my amp to wind up to maximum volume, sending me diving across the room to turn it down manually.

3: The one I described above where remote locks up for 10-15 seconds without sending codes.

There may be more, but these are the ones I have regularly...
