I have actually seen that guys site somewhere and it seems he has made it quite complex. Still would love to find a boxed software solution/application.

It seems to me the best solution would be a Software that could run an emulation of an ICF file full screen. Then we could still use the ProntoEdit to create the interface and then run the emulator to make it work on a PC or tabletPC using the built in IR transmitter.

I am going to discuss this with my software designers and see what we can come up with.

Anyone else have any input? Perhaps the people that have hacked the iProntos firmware can provide some feedback on creating a PC based emulator?
