Thanks kevmalone, i'd already downloaded NeoEdit . I found that if you open a file in NeoHacker & resave it (saves as original name with "Hacked" added to title) then i can open it in NeoEdit, however there does not seem to be any advantage using Neo Edit so i will continue using Freedom Edit.
