I had the same problem. After 45 minutes on phone with the support they found the problem. I had installed the software directly from the webpage, not from the cd. Therefore I got an account not compatible with Harmony 525. The support changed my account to match 525, when I then choose to download the software from the webpage I got version 5.x instead of 4.x. Another solution should be to uninstall the not working software and install from the cd.
